He then tweeted a photo with Mark Zuckerberg, to which Elon Musk reacted.

Kanye West, who changed his name to Ye, had his Twitter account locked on Sunday following a series of antisemitic tweets, just two days after having his Instagram temporarily restricted.

The rapper’s account wasn’t deleted but locked. His tweets are still visible – save for the antisemitic ones, which Twitter deleted, and he’s unable to post new ones.

“The account was locked for violating Twitter’s policies,” a Twitter spokesperson said.

After his failed presidential bid, West hadn’t been active on Twitter since November 2020. He appeared to move to the platform over the weekend after having his Instagram account restricted.

West donned a ‘white lives matter’ T-shirt during Paris fashion week and dressed models in the shirt containing the phrase that the Anti-Defamation League considers a ‘hate slogan.’

Carly Pildis, director of community engagement at Anti-Defamation League, wrote on Twitter: “Kanye West has more Twitter followers than there Jews in the world. There are an estimated 14.8 million Jews, and he has over 30 million followers. American Jews are experiencing a historic rise in antisemitic incidents. His actions are extremely dangerous and must be called out.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs had reached West about a “White Lives Matter” shirt he wore to the Paris Fashion Show as West has drawn criticism for the shirt, including from the Anti-Defamation League, which categorizes “White Lives Matter” as a white supremacist phrase.

In an interview with Fox’s Tucker Carlson, West said he wore the shirt because he thought it was “funny.”

West posted a photo on October 8th on Twitter of a hat with 2024 written on it. In another tweet, he shared a throwback picture featuring Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg. “Look at this Mark. How you gone kick me off Instagram. You used to be my ni**a.”

Elon Musk, Twitter’s potential buyer, welcomed Kanye back on Twitter and responded to his tweet.

Many known names are calling out West, including Hailey Bieber, Khloe Kardashian, and American Supermodel Gigi Hadid.

According to The Guardian, West was diagnosed with bipolar disorder a few years ago.
