We all are used to taking screenshots of our private chats to share with our favorite people but that is soon going to change as WhatsApp will roll out an update as part of a slew of security changes.
WhatsApp users won’t just be restricted of taking screenshots of other chats but also their own if highest security mode is on. The feature is yet to the made public along with the long-rumored fingerprint security feature which enables another layer of authentication.
If the user chooses to switch on this feature, even after confirming their identities they won’t be able to take a screenshot of their chats. WABetaInfo expressed confusion about the way these security features work.
We will update you once the feature is officially rolled out so watch this space.
