The services provided by WhatsApp is pretty much unparalleled. With more features on its way, the popular messaging app is set to introduce another element soon, but we have a hunch that you won’t be too pleased. Yes, the infamous advertisements which have grappled with half the applications in the Play Store are scheduled for a debut in 2020.
While Facebook, Instagram or Youtube was already crawling with interruptive ads, WhatsApp remained untouched. But thanks to a recent confirmation by Facebook, it seems that WhatsApp will become more intruding than ever.

The photo was shared on Twitter by Matt Navara and Oliver which was taken at an annual Facebook Marketing Summit in the Netherlands. The slides elaborate on the nature of the ads which is described as “Ads that click to WhatsApp (FB)”. Moreover, an inter-connected advertisement plan details that Instagram ads click to WhatsApp and it is dubbed as “Ads that click to WhatsApp (IG)”.
The third plan is to bring native advertisements to Facebook and WhatsApp by displaying them in Stories, just the way Instagram does it. Facebook is also pondering a richer messaging format for business.
