Whatsapp is a free messaging app that lets users chat, text and share media including voice messages and video with either individuals or groups. It was launched in 2009 and from that, it has never looked back from serving people. It has not only cut down mobile bills but also made the subject of non-personal interaction more easy and quick.

Going with statistics Whatsapp now has 1.5 billion users and sees 60 billion messages sent per day. That is, in fact, a massive number. But with great progress comes high responsibilities. With so many users trusting on them Whatsapp has to launch new features to retain its everlasting position. So breaking the ice, Whatsapp has launched a new feature for Group. And currently, Whatsapp supports up to 256 participants per group.

What Is The New Feature About?

Group setting on Whatsapp is a great way to interact with a number of people altogether. But with so many messages sometimes that one important text goes in vain. And honestly, there are times when a group chat is lit as well as little annoying. So, solving all of this issues the newly added feature of Whatsapp allows only admins to send messages in a group. Non-admins will still be able to read messages and respond privately by tapping “Message Admin”.
