Sam Woolf to play fiery sorcerer, Rience, in THE WITCHER Season 3

NEWS

The Witcher Season 3 on Netflix Replaces a Major Character.

Sam Woolf will take over for Chris Fulton, who played Rience in Season 2.

In reality, the new Rience has been filming a heated battle sequence with Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri right under our eyes since he was spotted in Wales.

Recasting is not new to Netflix's The Witcher, Basil Eidenbenz took over for actor Thue Ersted Rasmussen who had previously played Eskel.

After a lengthy pause caused by COVID-19 and star Henry Cavill's temporary absence, The Witcher Season 3 filming is now back in full gear.

In the series, Lydia van Bredevoort hired Rience to find Ciri, and as a result, he later arrested and tortured the bard Jaskier to learn where she and Geralt were.

He tortured Jaskier with fire magic until Yennefer intervened, and it was she who left those scars on his face.
