In "House of the Dragon," Emily Carey plays Lady Alicent Hightower.

She admitted that she was "scared" to perform sex scenes due to the violence upon women in GOT.

Carey sat down to watch "Game of Thrones" before "House of the Dragon" began filming.

There is a lot of violence against women in even the first episode of " Game of Thrones," she said.

Carey was 17 at the time she read the scripts.

She claimed that she was scared until she met Paddy, who portrays her husband, King Viserys.

Emily expressed her gratitude to the "Intimacy Coordinator" for helping to make things simpler and less stressful for her.

Carey praised creators Ryan Condal and Miguel Sapochnik for making the cast “feel incredibly secure and safe.”

Carey and her co-star Milly Alcock (young Rhaenyra Targaryen) will soon be replaced by Olivia Cooke and Emma D'Arcy, respectively, due to a significant time jump.
