ByteDance finally unveiled its much-rumored smartphone. Dubbed as Smartisan Jianguo Pro 3, it is a flagship phone that is equipped with four rear cameras. The highlight of the phone is the camera features such as selfie lighting and the ability to access TikTok app with a single swipe on the lock screen.
Smartisan Jianguo Pro 3 specifications
Smartisan Jianguo Pro 3 runs on Smartisan OS 7 but whether it is Android 9 Pie or Android 10 is unclear. It is lit by a 6.3 inches Full-HD+ AMOLED display that boasts a 403ppi pixel density and 100,000:1 contrast ratio. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 855+ processor coupled with up to 12GB of RAM. It is offered is 128GB storage which supports UFS 2.1 standard, while the 256GB storage variants support the faster UFS 3.0 standard.
On the camera side of things, Smartisan Jianguo Pro 3 sports a quad-camera setup that includes a 48MP main snapper with the Sony IMX586 sensor and an f/1.75 aperture, a 13MP wide-angle camera with a 123-degrees field of view, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with support for 2x optical zoom support, and a 5-megapixel macro camera to click subjects as close as 2cm. The front camera is a 20MP sensor that uses 4-in-1 pixel binning technology to deliver brighter photos.
To keep things ticking, Smartisan Jianguo Pro 3 equips a 4,000mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 4+ (18W) and PD 3.0 as well that is charged by a USB Type-C charger. Smartisan Jianguo Pro 3 includes Bluetooth v5.0, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and Wi-Fi Direct.
Smartisan Jianguo Pro 3 is priced according to the specifications. There are a total of 3 models – the base 8GB + 128GB storage variant costs CNY 2,899 (roughly ₹29,000), the 8GB + 256GB version costs CNY 3,199 (roughly ₹32,000), and a 12GB + 256GB variant costs CNY 3,599 (roughly ₹36,000). The 8GB RAM models come in Black and White color options while the 12GB + 256GB variant comes only in a green-ish Matsutake color. Even though the phone is available in China, there is no word on the phone’s availability in markets outside China.
