5 Smart Tips To Rein Hacker Spying On You

It’s 2017 and most of us are using our smartphones as frequently as we are blinking our eyes. You might have assumed that everything is fine and secure but let me break this to you; someone could be spying on you.  It happens every day and it is increasingly becoming more frequent. Most people have no idea unless they are suspicious that someone knows a little too much about them.

Spy apps were initially designed for parents- so that they could watch over their kids, but that’s not where it stops. These sneaky apps are now being used by boyfriends, girlfriends, family members, and even suspicious employers.

Following are the most common spy-Apps and here is how you should be aware of them:

  1. Xnspy: This phone Spying app works fine on both Android iOS devices. It is more than just an app that monitors the call logs and text messages. It also monitors the GPS location, internet activities, instant messages on Facebook messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram, Skype, Tinder, Kik and other popular social media messengers and even records phone calls and surroundings. It is a complete package that lets you keep tabs on anyone, whether your child, partner or employees. Once installed in the target device, it works in complete stealth mode. As you remotely monitor the activities on the target device, they will never know about it.
  2. Spyera:  This app comes pre-installed on various Apple and Android devices, so whoever handed you the phone could be monitoring all of your personal activity. It can listen in on phone calls and can use your microphone to listen in on everything else that’s happening near the smartphone. It can also track your instant messages and texts.
  3. Theonespy: If you use an iPhone or iPad, then you need to watch out for TheOneSpy. Once the software is installed, whoever installed it is essentially in possession of everything that happens on that particular device.
  4. FlexiSpy is an app that can be installed on your device to spy on activity. It shares many of the same features but gets worse. Not only can FlexiSpy monitor messages, audio and data, it can spy on your GPS location, passwords, and other apps.
  5. MSPY: The most outrightly frightening things about mSpy is its ability to monitor content from apps like SnapChat. It can also monitor your GPS location, and even restrict incoming calls from a predefined number.
  6. HIGHSTER MOBILE: A WhatsApp spy app and very popular, it is known for its ability to monitor other apps you use on your device, such as Facebook, Instagram, Skype, WhatsApp, etc. It can also be used to completely lock a targeted phone, which means you could lose access to your device entirely. It works on both Apple and Android devices.

5 Smart Tips To Rein Hacker Spying On You

I have compiled a list of some of the common mistakes that smartphone users make, in regards to their privacy and what they can do to avoid them.

1. Think Twice Before Rooting or Jailbreaking.

Undoubtedly, jailbroken iPhones and rooted Android phones give users a lot more options and possibilities at their fingertips; but with this come more security risks.

However, iPhone and Android devices that are neither jailbroken or rooted are overall much safer because of the various security protocols and protections that are in place.

2. Use An Antivirus/Security Software

Almost all smartphones (over 90% of them) come shipped with no antivirus software at all. Additionally, very few users even think about the malware risks that their devices incur.

3. Turn off your Bluetooth

An individual (hacker) can get access to your devices via your Bluetooth connection. Once they are within 25 – 30 feet of your device, a ‘bluejacker’ can access your data and private information in seconds. So, unless you absolutely need to use your device’s Bluetooth, turn it off.

4. Don’t use public wi-fi networks

Any and all information that is directed over a public Wi-Fi network is freely visible to individuals who have access to said network. This is not even remotely difficult to do and it gives prospective hackers the ability to remotely access any information that is on your device.

5. Install Updates

Software updates are regularly issued by the developers of apps and the manufacturers of smartphones. These software updates are important because they not only improve the overall functionality of your device; they also improve the overall security level of your device as well.
