Samsung had announced the first phone in the M series, the M10, back in January 2019. The series has sold 2 million units by May 2019, just before the launch of the M40. And it’s no turning back now. It’s the most famous phone in the series, the Samsung Galaxy M30 is set to get another version already. Recent leaks give us a look into its panel.
91Mobiles have got hands on the back and the bottom panel. The images were leaked from the pre-production phase which is going on at a Noida plant. The phone retains the plasticky look from the M30 with the glossy finish. In addition, it will also sport a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It will be available in White, Blue and Black hues at launch.
Samsung Galaxy M30s bearing the model number SM-M307F will run Exynos 9610 chipset which will be based on 10 nm fabrication technology. It will have Mali-G72 MP3 GPU for gaming. The upgraded Exynos will make it faster than the M30. It might have a 4GB RAM and could record 4K videos. A 64 GB and 128 GB variant might be the two options, but the battery will be a 5000mAh cell with support for 15W fast charging. The M30s will debut with Android 9 Pie with Samsung’s One UI atop.
According to the leaks, the phone might come with a dual camera setup instead of triple, like the one found on the original M30. There is not much known about the price but considering it’s a budget phone, potential users will have to fork out around ₹20,000 for the base variant.
