South Korean giant Samsung has unveiled the successor to the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 phones – the Galaxy A30s and Galaxy A50s in India. There are subtle improvements in terms of cameras, design, and select other features. Both phones will be offered via a variety of online and offline retailers in the country.
Samsung Galaxy A50s
Samsung A50s features a 6.4 inches full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) Infinity-U Super AMOLED display. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9611 SoC up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage with a microSD card slot (up to 512GB). The A50s runs on Android 9 Pie with Samsung’s One UI on top.
Talking about the cameras, Samsung A50s sports a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The other cameras include an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 5MP depth sensor. There’s also a Night Mode, making it the first A-series phone to get the feature. The front camera is a 32MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The Samsung Galaxy A50s comes with NFC, an under-display fingerprint sensor and a 4000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. It will start at ₹22,999 for the 4GB RAM base variant while the 6GB RAM variant will cost ₹24,999.
Samsung Galaxy A30s
Samsung A30s features a 6.4 inches HD+ (720×1560 pixels) Infinity-V Super AMOLED display. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7904 SoC, coupled with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage with a microSD card slot (up to 512GB). The A50s runs on Android 9 Pie with Samsung’s One UI on top.
Talking about the cameras, Samsung A30s packs a total of three cameras. The three lenses include a 25MP shooter with f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 5MP depth sensor. The front camera is a 16MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The Samsung Galaxy A30s comes with NFC, an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 4000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. It will be available at ₹16,999 for the sole 4GB+64GB variant.
Both the phones will be available in Prism Crush Violet, Prism Crush Black, and Prism Crush White colors. Samsung will sell these smartphones via online retailers like Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm Mall, and Samsung Online Shop as well as Samsung partner physical retailers in the country. The phones go on sale today.
