Samsung is trying hard to capture the flagship-killer segment with its latest launch, the S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite. While nothing is known about the availability of Note 10 Lite launch date, the S10 Lite will be unveiled in the first week of February and reports suggest that the pre-orders will begin from January 23, 2020.
Walmart-owned Flipkart’s landing page revealed the pre-order date. Rumors suggest that the phone will likely cost ₹39,999 ($565) which is just in the price segment of the Chinese manufacturer OnePlus.
The S10 Lite is a toned version of Samsung’s S10 Plus flagship that sold over 16 million units, as of July 2019. It features a 6.7 inches Full-HD+ Infinity-O display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 7nm processor. It has 6GB/8GB RAM with 128GB in-built storage that can be expanded with a microSD card.
The S10 Lite has a mammoth 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. It comes with an under-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. The phone’s rear houses a triple camera setup – 48MP lens with Super Steady OIS, 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a dedicated 5MP macro camera. The selfie shooter is a 32MP lens. The phone does not come with a headphone jack.
Given the specifications, it could be OnePlus devices a run for its money.
