Step 2: You will quickly see a pop-up which will require you fill in your request to the business. There seems to be no limit on the words but we suggest you shouldn’t write an essay. Click on ‘Request.’

Google will give you a small pop-up saying that your request was sent. Now, you will have to wait for the business’s response, which might take some time.

Step 3: You can see the exact conversation in your Google Maps Messages feature. Potential consumers can take the conversation further on the said platform.

Businesses will keep getting your messages on Google My Business App as well as through SMS, simultaneously.

If you are a business owner and want to take advantage of this feature to better communicate with consumers, follow the steps:

  • Download and launch Google My Business app.
  • Select a business if you have multiple locations.
  • Click on Consumers and then select Messages.

  • Tap on Turn on.

You can now take advantage of this feature.
