Reliance Jio recharge plan 2020: Details of plan validity and more

Reliance Jio has also launched a new offer for those planning to buy the JioPhone.

Reliance Jio has announced a “2020 Happy New Year Offer” for its customers using Jio prepaid connections as well as a “2020 Jio Phone Happy New Year Offer” for customers who are planning to buy a new Jio Phone. The telecom operator is offering a Rs. 2,020 plan that brings unlimited voice calling along with bundled data and SMS messages benefits for 365 days under the new offer for Jio prepaid customers. On the other hand, the Jio 2020 Happy New Year Offers are valid for a limited period. However, the benefits will remain the same even though the price of the annual Jio plan has been reduced. Earlier this month, the Mumbai-based operator revised its Rs. 98 prepaid plan with 300 SMS message benefits for 28 days.

Jio 2020 Happy New Year offer: Plan details and more

The new Rs 2020 Happy New Year plan comes with unlimited voice calls, 1.5GB data per day, SMSes and access to Jio Apps to the subscribers. The validity of the Happy New Year plan remains the same as the original Rs 2,199 plan and comes with 365 days or 1-year validity.

Reliance Jio will offer additional benefits to the Jio phone users i.e. on recharging with Rs 2020, users will get a JioPhone which is priced at Rs 699 in India and other services including unlimited voice calls, 0.5GB data per day, SMS, and access to Jio Apps for 12 months, 365 days or 1 year. The Jio Happy New Year 2020 offer is accessible starting from December 24, until the first week of January.

The Jio Happy New Year 2020 offer is available starting December 24, until the first week of January. Reliance Jio is yet to reveal the last date of the Happy New Year 2020 offer. Users will have to pay Rs 2,199 for the annual plan without the offer while with the offer they will have to pay Rs 2020.

Under the Happy New Year 2020 offer, Jio users will pay around Rs 179 less. Also, the unlimited voice calling benefits are limited for Jio-to-Jio and landline calls, whereas a fair usage policy (FUP) is applicable to calls made to non-Jio numbers. Moreover, the telco also launched its Interconnect Usage Charge (IUC) top-up vouchers valued between Rs. 10 and Rs. 100 to provide non-Jio voice calling minutes along with additional data entitlement.
