Realme today unveiled its all-new Realme X smartphone in China. The device is well packed with some flagship-level features and is designed in a virtuous way to meet the desires of 2019. It looks almost similar to the One Plus 7 with a full view display and a Pop-Up Selfie camera on top. In the meantime, Realme X becomes the company’s first ever smartphone to host an AMOLED Display and an In-Display fingerprint scanner.
Realme X Specifications
The Realme X flaunts a 6.53 inch FHD+ AMOLED Display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. Notably, there is no notch or punch-hole on the display this time, which helps in attaining a screen-to-body ratio of 91.2 percent. Also, the device is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
Internally, it is powered by a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Soc. Just so you know, the Snapdragon 710 features a Kryo 360 CPU paired with Adreno 616 GPU which deals the graphics-intensive tasks. The device will be available in three different storage options, which includes a 4Gb/64Gb, 6Gb/64Gb, and an 8Gb/128Gb higher variant as well. For security, Realme has added an optical In-Display fingerprint reader for the very first time.
In the optics section, the device sports a dual camera setup on its back which incorporates a 48Mp Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.7 aperture, coupled with a 5Mp depth sensor. Realme also claims that the device will be able to shoot videos in 4k resolution and also slow-motion videos at 960fps. Besides, it also comprises some handy camera features like Night Sight, Enhanced HDR, AI scene detection, etc. On the front, it packs a 16MP f/2.0(Sony IMX471) Pop-Up Selfie Camera with Sapphire glass protection.
Furthermore, the device is packed with a 3,765 mAh non-removable battery and also supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging, which could completely charge up the device in just 80 minutes. It has a USB Type-C charging port and still holds a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device will be shipped with Color OS 6.0 based on Android Pie.
Finally, Realme X basically comes in two color variants-Steam White and Punk Blue. In terms of its pricing, the base variant with 4Gb RAM and 64Gb storage is priced at CNY 1499(approx Rs 15,000), 6Gb/64Gb at CNY 1599(approx Rs 16,000) and the higher variant with 8Gb/128Gb storage at CNY 1799(approx Rs 18000). Realme X will be available in China from 20th May via online platforms.
