Realme is known to provide the most affordable phones, especially in India where a max-out iPhone costs ₹1,09,900. It seems that the Realme is all set to lock horns with Xiaomi as it will soon begin manufacturing fitness bands. Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has also confirmed that they’ll soon be launching an affordable fitness band.
Xiaomi makes some of the most affordable fitness bands in the country. Where the most common fitness brand is Xiaomi’s Mi Band 4 if Realme enters the market, we could see more affordable wearables.
Realme CEO Madhav Seth said in a company’s YouTube video, “Talking about the fitness band, I will definitely say it is in the works, and you might see one in the first half of 2020. We aim to become India’s largest tech lifestyle brand.”
According to reports, Realme might launch its first-ever band in 2020. Some final additions are being done to the product as we speak. The firm recently unveiled its first truly wireless earphones in India, Realme Buds Air, whose design resembles Apple’s AirPods. Available at ₹3,999, the earphones can connect to any device with an ‘instant auto connection feature.’
As Xiaomi was the go-to brand for users who wanted an affordable fitness band, Realme’s product could give them a run for their money.
