PUBG, also known as PlayerUnknown’s Battleground, is all set to get some bells and whistles. The recently launched 0.14.0 update brought Infection Mode, revamped user-interface and more to the game. Popular gamer and YouTuber Mr. Ghost Gaming posted a video on his channel wherein he says the Battle Royale game is all set to get some new additions, such as grenade launchers and helicopters. He did mention that it’s a Chinese beta he tested.
In the video, players can easily ride and drive helicopters. The helicopters can be used like any normal vehicles in this Chinese beta. Players can switch their sitting positions. The helicopters also require fuel. The most probable use would be quickly flying to the blue zone, instead of walking or driving. It can be found at the helipad on the top floor of the School, in the Erangel map.
It kinda seems unfair that a bunch of people could easily abandon the danger zone while others might find it difficult to do so. Well, there’s a solution for everything and Tencent might have an option which could enable the non-helicopter passengers to just shoot it down. The helicopters are vulnerable and can easily be taken down. The beta also seems to have the BRDM amphibious vehicle. There are also lots of the guns, particularly homing missile launcher, grenade launcher an RPG gun to fire missiles.
Other additions include binoculars and vehicle repair kits. The update is currently in Timi’s beta mode, another version of the PUBG Mobile. At present, it is only available in China. When these new updates do make it to the stable version of the game, it might just compete with the upcoming Call of Duty: Mobile.
