Chinese manufacturer OPPO is all set to launch another budget phone in their arsenal, the A1k. The official specs list is yet unknown as Thailand’s NBTC certification site didn’t reveal any significant details. However, it is expected to cost around ₹10,990 which suggests that it’s an entry-level smartphone.
The OPPO A1k will sport an unknown sized display with a waterdrop notch for an immersive screen. Unfortunately, there’s going to be only 1 rear camera, which is still unspecified. Also, the phone lacks a physical fingerprint sensor so I guess users will be dependent on the usual PIN-Pattern unlock or a face unlock.
What we do know is that the A1k will be powered by MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor, coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB in-built storage. It will run on a 12nm chipset. Talking about software, the A1k will be running on Android 9.0 Pie with its custom skin, ColorOS 6.0, atop.
Another confirmed feature is the battery, which is a 4000 mAh cell. It might sway first-time buyers since entry-level smartphones are notorious when it comes to battery performance.
We will soon reveal all the specifications once the phone is officially launched. So, watch this space.
