OnePlus announced the OnePlus 10 Pro earlier this year, and people thought it was a weird name since there was no base OnePlus 10 model to choose from. The rumor mill was also abuzz that the company could follow up with a OnePlus 10 later this year, but it was just a rumor.

It is now said that OnePlus might ditch the Pro branding for its 2023 flagship phone. In a tweet by Max Jambor, he claims that the company’s 2023 OnePlus flagship will be known as the OnePlus 11.

Last year, OnePlus launched only one flagship device, which will also repeat next year. The device previously referred to as the OnePlus 11 Pro will be launched as the OnePlus 11. OnePlus’ decision to drop the Pro name could be its attempt to streamline its naming scheme.

The situation is murky as the fate of the Pro moniker is not yet known. Since the OnePlus 11 will be the only flagship phone launching in the year’s first half, it’ll be interesting to see what naming scheme the company opts for.

It is rumored that the OnePlus 11 will come with a 1-inch camera sensor and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

Other rumored specs include a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display, up to 16GB of RAM, and a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP main, a 48MP, a 32MP, and a 16MP selfie, with a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging.
