OnePlus Confirms Its Smart TV will be Called OnePlus TV: Reveals Logo

Oneplus is already famous in the smartphone space and now its all set to venture into the Smart TV space. Recently, OnePlus has revealed that it is going to launch its TV which will be called OnePlus TV. The project to develop the OnePlus TV was announced back in September last year. OnePlus has also disclosed its logo which will have a OnePlus logo with a word TV next to it. The company said that the logo was inspired by classical art forms of ancient Hindu mandala symbol as well as the Heraion of Argos ancient Greek temple.

Some rumors say that the OnePlus TV will run Android and use LED panels. However, the specifications of the smart TV are yet to be announced. The TV range could come in four sizes: 43-inches, 55-inches, 65-inches, and 75-inches. One of the sources says, that the 43-inch variant would be exclusively for India while the 75-inch variant would be only for the United States and China. The source also suggests that OnePlus is also going to launch an OLED TV Variant.

The OnePlus TV will mark smart capabilities coupled with the company’s ‘burden-less’ design philosophy.

The company has also revealed that the OnePlus TV will be sold on Amazon India whenever it will be launched. It is also speculated that the OnePlus TV will run on a version of OxygenOS with features similar to Android TV OS. The design of OnePlus TV, however, remains a mystery with no information regarding its design.

It is expected that the OnePlus TV could range between Rs 40,000 and Rs 50,000. It is thought that the TV will come with a Bluetooth compatible remote. The TV is assumed to support Bluetooth 5.0 and 4K HDR displays. So, we are expecting OnePlus TV to have some out-of-the-ordinary features with Bluetooth-enabled remote and smartphone connectivity.
