OnePlus CEO signals at an upcoming TV; India to get it First

OnePlus is all set to enter your living rooms as it’s all set to launch a line of its own televisions. A few days ago, the Chinese firm revealed the official name of its first smart TV to be called the OnePlus TV. Reports suggest that the TV might be launched on September 26. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has given his affirmations and also added that India will the first market to get a hands-on its OnePlus TV.

Pete Lau made this announcement on OnePlus forums. The TV will also be launched n North America, Europe, and China after it establishes partnerships with most of the local and regional content providers. He says, “OnePlus has had a very positive relationship with content providers in India, who have always been willing to partner with us, which guarantees great content for our users.” 

The TV will be available for purchase on Amazon.in. Its ‘Notify Me’ is also live on the dedicated OnePlus TV page on the website.

CEO Pete Lau said, “Over the past 6 years, we have achieved great success in India in large part because of our passionate and supportive community. Even after all these years, we’re excited to explore exciting new opportunities hand-in-hand with you. OnePlus TV is such an important product for all of us, and we can’t wait to see it in living rooms all over India.” Lau claims also talks about some premium features. “OnePlus TV will live up to your expectations of what is, without reservations, a new premium flagship,” he said.

Talking about features, Pete Lau hints at the inclusion of great sound experience, smart features, and smart interconnectivity options. He says designing has also been given ample attention to appeal to a wide range of potential buyers. The TV might come in a variety of screen sizes, that can range from 43 inches to 75 inches.
