OnePlus built a piano out of 17 phones

OnePlus is always appreciated for its unconventional marketing stunts and now the company has built a piano out of its phones. OnePlus 7T Pro‘s 90Hz display and the fast processor is said to play a major role in creating a smooth musical keyboard. Moreover, last month, a Google ad showed off an incredibly impractical DJ rig built out of Pixel 4s to show off the phone’s gesture controls.

‘Watch the OnePlus Phone Piano dial up the Christmas magic on its mission to connect people with what really matters this festive season—each other. With classical pianist Karim Kamar lending a helping hand, let the heartwarming melodies take you on an enchanting journey,’ said OnePlus.

The piano will move to three different cities if you are interested in catching a glimpse of the same. 1) Place Jacques Rueff, Champ de Mars, Paris, France, November 12 from 10 AM. 2) Herrngasse 1, 91541 Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany, November 14 from 10 AM. 3) Helsinki Hall, Central Station, Helsinki, Finland, November 16 from 12 PM.

17 OnePlus 7T Pros were pinned together in a piano casing, each one showing three white keys for a total of 51 which is close enough to a regular piano’s 52. People are gathering around this weird musical contraption to see a digital piano with 136 to 204 gigs of RAM and 4,352 gigs of storage.
