OnePlus has been shattering the rumor mills with all its leaks and the latest one is sure to drop your jaw. While OnePlus has teased a lot of its features with the teasers, CEO confirmed in a statement that the OnePlus Pro’s display will be HDR10+ certified, which means the phone will be able to emit crispier content with the dynamic viewing experience. Not only this, OnePlus has partnered with YouTube and Netflix as both the platforms have HDR10 content.
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau said, “HDR10+ is the future of not just television displays, but also smartphone displays as well. We hope that our newest device will set a new benchmark for the smartphone industry and open up a new world of visual fluidity for users. We’re glad we are leading the ranks in sharing quality technology with the world.”
Just yesterday Pete Lau also confirmed in a tweet the presence of UFS (Universal Flash Storage) 3.0 which delivers 2,100 MB/s speed, twice the speed of the eUFS storage. This new technology will also boost app performances, making them open faster and will improve boot time. This year’s tagline, ‘Go Beyond Speed’ shows how much focus OnePlus is putting on the upcoming flagship’s performance.
“OnePlus 7 Pro having UFS 3.0 storage means it’ll just be overall faster than comparable smartphones.”
