Nokia’s first-ever smart TV made its debut

Nokia is mainly known for its smartphones but now it seems that the company is branching out as it has released its first-ever smart TV. As per a report by Devices 360, Indian firm Flipkart has been granted the usage of the Nokia model for its sensible TVs — “a world-first for the model within the TV class,” in response to Flipkart itself, which is a significant e-commerce retailer within the nation.

The Nokia TV will enhance the TV viewing experience for users as it is going to profit from JBL’s experience. Dolby Audio and DTS TruSurround will enable high-quality audio playback from the TV’s front speakers.

“Flipkart’s understanding of the needs and behaviors of Indian consumers, and the power of its reach will help it make Nokia branded smart TVs accessible and affordable,” says Vipul Mehrotra, Flipkart’s VP of Nokia brand partnerships.

The 55-inch Nokia Extremely HD (4K) LED Sensible Android TV will include two 24-watt audio systems as a part of a sound system from JBL by Harman. The TV additionally features a 16:9 show with a 60Hz refresh fee, help for Dolby Imaginative and prescient and HDR10, three HDMI ports, and two USB ports. As far as the pricing is concerned, the primary Nokia-branded TV will be available for $589 US ( approx. ₹ 41,999).
