The Lenovo-owned Motorola is teasing the launch of its foldable Razr smartphone on November 13. This year Samsung, Huawei, and Microsoft launched foldable smartphones. The company has sent out invites for the event that reads “An original unlike any other” and According to CNET, the GIF invitation shows a liquid metal-Esque material melting off and reveals what could be an actual foldable device.
Motorola describes the event that is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles as a “highly-anticipated unveiling of a reinvented icon.” The invitation adds that there will be special guests and musical instruments at the event and describes the event as “a journey through immersive experiences.”
Moreover, The Razr is expected to cost $1500 and would be a Verizon exclusive, therefore, is another expensive foldable smartphone. Further, The Razr foldable announcement tagline references an “original” that serves as a callback to the brand that Moto would be wise to bring back. Earlier, the Motorola Razr foldable smartphone was expected to launch this summer but then the launch got delayed to the end of 2019 timeframe.
