American tech firm Motorola has been focusing on the budget series for a while now. It has added a new affordable Moto E6s in the Moto E-series. The phone has a glossy finish for that mass appeal and is light in weight.
The phone is a rebranded version of Moto E6 Plus that was introduced at IFA 2019. The E6s features a 6.1 inches HD+ (720 x 1560 pixels) display with a waterdrop notch and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It has 80% screen-to-body ratio. It runs on Android 9 Pie with a stock interface and is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC clocked at 2.0GHz. There’s only one variant – 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. It can be expanded via a MicroSD card (up to 512GB).
As for the cameras, the Moto E6s packs a dual rear camera setup. It includes a 13MP primary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and auto-focus support. The second sensor is a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie shooter is an 8MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.
The phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication and is equipped with a 3,000mAh battery and supports 10W charging.
The E6s costs ₹7,999 for the only 4GB RAM/ 64GB variant. It is available in Rich Cranberry and Polished Graphite color options. Those looking to buy the phone can do so on September 23 which will be available on Flipkart. Launch offers include ₹2200 Jio cashback and Cleartrip vouchers worth ₹3000.
