American banking giant JP Morgan Chase is terminating its professional relationship with rapper Kanye West and his Yeezy brand.

Conservative US commentator Candace Owens shared a letter from the bank, dated 20 September, on Twitter. West has been associated with her in recent years.

The letter signifies that the decision has already been made and that Kanye – who now goes by the name Ye – has until November 21 to move his business to a different bank.

West responded to the bank severing ties with him: “Hey, if you call somebody out for bad business, that means you’re being antisemitic. I feel happy to have crossed the line of that idea so we can speak openly about things like getting canceled by a bank.”

“e also said he was “the ri”hest Black man in American history, putting $140m in JP Morgan.”

West a”so faced much criticism for wearing a “White Lives Matter” shirt to his daug”ter’s basketball gamdaughter’sYeezy Show.

In September, West said he was terminating his partnership with the clothing brand Gap and accused them of failing to honor the terms of the deal.

Candace Owens is said to be one of the few to support Kanye.
