Huawei’s future has been quite uncertain due to the whole blanket ban situation. But seeing that the ban has been almost lifted and some devices are scheduled for the Q upgrade, Huawei is all set for another launch. The Chinese manufacturer is soon going to launch the Huawei Y9 Prime (2019). Amazon revealed the teaser of the upgrade to the Huawei Y9 that was launched back in January 2019. The teaser says ‘Coming Soon,’ which means that the launch is imminent. The phone will come with a pop-up selfie camera and one can assume that this will make way for a full-screen immersive experience.
The phone was launched in China, Chile, Saudi Arabia, and Kenya this year. The Indian launch date, however, is a mystery. The Y9 Prime 2019 sports a 6.5 inches TFT LCD full-HD+ screen, dubbed as Huawei Ultra FullView Display, with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by octa-core Kirin 710F processor with a 12nm chipset, coupled with 4GB RAM and Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. The phone comes with 64GB/128GB storage options. It will be further expandable via a micro SD card up to 1TB. The phone runs on EMUI 9 atop Android 9.
