- Mark all such files and press OK to delete them.

6. Manage Startup Programs

To stop all unnecessary programs from running at boot time on Windows 7, search “msconfig” in search box and select it from the given options to open System Configuration window. Here, select Startup tab and uncheck the programs that you want to stop from running at boot time. Press OK to make the changes.
To stop unnecessary programs on Windows 10, right click on the taskbar and select Task Manager. On Task Manager window, click on “more details” and then tap on Startup tab to view all startup items. Now to stop any of these programs, right-click on it and select Disable.
7. Launch Performance Monitor
You can launch Performance Monitor on your system to view detailed analysis of hardware & software performance. Further, you can manage them from here. To launch Performance Monitor on Windows 7, search and select “Performance Monitor” from search box under Start menu. Here, you will find all necessary Monitoring Tools to manage your system performance. Further, you can go to “Open Resource Monitor” to find and manage system hardware & software.
To launch Performance Monitor on Windows 10, search and select “perform /report” in search bar (next to Start menu) to launch “Resource and Performance Monitor”. Here, you will find detail of your system hardware and apps & programs. You can click on any of these options to manage them well.
