Windows tries to give us a simplistic user interface and it is still working on it. Since Windows XP, there has been a lot of complications when it comes to navigating around the operating system and the overall look of it. It somewhat improved with the Vista, which was then perfected in Windows 7. It is considered as the peak of Windows operating systems, only to be worsened by its successor Windows 8. Microsoft got a lot of backlash for breaking what was perfect, especially removing the Start Menu and introducing Charms.
Microsoft announced that Windows 10 will be the last Windows but will instead get updates. And it has gotten better. From a fully working and bug-free Start Menu to Dark mode and update schedules, Windows 10 has set the bar this time. Still, there are times when you click something and an action is performed somewhere else. Like the time when you clicked on some folder and another folder is opened or moved to the Recycle Bin. Nobody wants that! Such minuscule issues sometimes manage to irk us, humans. One of the issues that people face is related to desktop icons. Many people ask how to hide all the desktop icons to make it look cleaner, even if it is only for a few hours. Don’t worry, we have got you covered. Scroll down and follow the steps to hide or show the desktop icons on your Windows 10 PC.
