Google will launch Pixel 4 on October 15

Google has invited media for its next Made by Google event that is going take place in New York City on October 15. The invite says “Come see a few new things Made by Google.” At the event, the company will announce its new smartphones- Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. The images of Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL has already been leaked in the past few weeks. You can watch the live stream at 1 PM EST on October 15 here:

The new Pixel smartphones will come with the latest Snapdragon processor and 3D facial unlock along with motion gestures with the Soli radar chip. It is estimated that Google will launch other hardware as well at the event. Pixel 4 will also support hand gesture commands. Moreover, it may launch Pixelbook 2 and new Google Home speakers on the same day.

Netflix has listed the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL in its list of devices that assist Netflix HD and HDR10 playback. According to a media report, the smartphone will have a 6.23-inch OLED display on the XL with an image resolution of 3040×1440, with a 90Hz mode. Google could also show off an update to Google Wifi to get the advantage of the newly certified Wi-Fi 6 standard. So save the date as google has confirmed the launch of Pixel 4 on October 15.
