Google team has found a creative way to announce its upcoming “pocket-friendly” Pixel, the Pixel 3a on its website. Rumored for a long time and accidentally confirmed by themselves, Google is eyeing to launch ‘midyear experiences’ to set itself in the market to compete with MI and Samsung’s affordable mid-range phones. The official text on the website read ‘Help is on the way,’ with a huge Google logo glowing as same as the Marvel’s upcoming film Avengers: Endgames’ logo. It was also revealed yesterday that several of the Marvel characters are joining the lineup of Playmoji, Google’s own take on augmented reality. It will be exclusive to Pixel phones.
Along with the mammoth text, Google also gave a date, 8th of May, which will see the Californian giant launch the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL phones at the company’s I/O 2019 keynote. According to the leaked specifications, the 3a will feature the same camera as the Pixel 3 but Google will cut corners in the overall built (plastic-back), processors and screen resolution.
It is also reported that T-Mobile has begun testing Pixel 3a on its network which will break the streak of Google devices being Verizon exclusive. It will also launch the original Pixel 3 and 3 XL.
