The countdown to the start of the World Cup has started, and if you aren’t subscribed to a broadcaster to catch a game in session, Google is usually a reliable source.

The search engine giant ensures fans do not miss a minute of it as it has got a way for them to keep up with the action as 32 countries go for the championship.

Google has many memorable FIFA World Cup changes coming to its websites and apps. Starting with Search, when you look up the word “World Cup” on the Google app or Search homepage on the web, it will take you to a dedicated hub with different tabs to check the match brackets, standings, and ongoing games.

Fans can also catch up on the highlights from games in daily recap videos right from the Search tab. These videos will be available from the official broadcast partners and FIFA+.

To track individual games, tap a match on the hub and drag it onto the home screen of your Android device to pin its score right there. You can also swipe and score some goals as Google has an interactive global multiplayer game in the Search results wherein you can select a team and accomplish virtual goals as long as the real-world match lasts.

Receive notifications about your favorite team by clicking on the bell in the top right corner of the screen next to ‘World Cup’ ‘and opt-in’ words. You’ll see detailed statistics, win probabilities, and timelines foessentialnt occurrences.
