What is Flipkart Plus and how it works?
The way it works is that everytime a customer purchases goods on Flipkart they will be rewarded with Plus points. And as you shop more the more points you earn. The coins then can be used to unlock multiple benefits across shopping, travel, and content. In addition, it promises free and fast delivery, early access to Flipkart’s major sales and enhanced customer support. Also, the firm will offer other rewards to Flipkart Plus subscribers on platforms like Hotstar, Zomato, MakeMyTrip and Café Coffee Day.

This means that everything we do is not just limited to a particular section of the society but appeals to a wider audience. With that in mind, we have crafted Flipkart Plus as India’s most inclusive customer benefits program and we’re extremely thrilled to launch it this Independence Day,” said Kalyan Krishnamurthy, CEO, Flipkart.
This move of Flipkart is said to be against its rival company Amazon and its flagship called Amazon Prime. As they will try to reduce the dominance of Amazon prime because it is a major differentiator between both websites. And unlike Amazon Prime which is a paid subscription-based programme for Rs.999 a year. Flipkart Plus is a no-fee point-based programme.
The motive behind Flipkart Plus is crystal clear. As this programme will strive hard to improve customer loyalty and increase the spendings on the website. Because the more you shop the more you earn coins and the more rewards you get. Which will be beneficial on the Flipkart website as well as outside too.
