Dish TV has unveiled its D2h Magic media streaming stick. It will give D2h members access to streaming services, TV shows, and original web series which will use Wi-Fi or mobile data.
The device works with an existing set-top box which will offer a unified interface to the users for live TV as well as watching digital content. Dish TV users also have the option of DishSMRT Stick, which gives the same experience that D2h subscribers would get through the D2h Magic.
D2h subscribers can take advantage of D2h Magic for just ₹399, which is an introductory price. The subscription is free for the first three months and after the period, DTH operator will charge a nominal subscription price of ₹25 plus taxes per month.
The D2h Magic Stick will give access to OTT and digital platforms such as ZEE5, ALTBalaji, Hungama Play, Watcho, etc. D2h Magic users can also get their hands-on various TV shows and digital videos from various online artists and creators. For kids, Dish TV will include a dedicated section that will include rhymes, learning and educational videos, and arts and craft videos
Users can order the D2h Magic from the website. One can also dial the helpline 1800-1370-111. After the device is purchased, subscribers will need to plug the D2h Magic stick into the USB port available on their set-top box. Configurations need to be done in terms of Wi-Fo or mobile network which will give a new experience watching the content on the TV.
