Asus at CES 2020 revealed the world’s first 14-inch gaming laptop – Asus ROG Zephyrus G14. It is the thinnest and lightest gaming notebook from the Taiwanese PC maker. The gaming laptop will include a decent amount of energy in a fairly thin chassis that is 17.9 mm thick, and the device weighs 1.6 kg.
The ROG Zephyrus G14 is announced as a part of Asus’ new AMD Ryzen powered laptops that include two ROG Zephyrus models and two models under the TUF gaming brand. It will come with a 14-inch display with an option for either 60Hz or 120Hz Full HD panel or a 60Hz WQHD panel and can be configured with up to AMD Ryzen 7 4800HS and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 with 6GB GDDR5 memory. The gaming laptop will support Intel WiFi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.0. Talking about the ports, you can get an option for one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery support. Moreover, it will come in either eclipse grey or moonlight white colors.
The G14 will have an innovative cooling system and an ‘AniMe Matrix’ display on the laptop lid of certain models and the latter will use a matrix of 1,215 mini LEDs that can be used to display graphics such as animated GIFs or messages.
Asus Zephyrus G14 is expected to go on sale in late March in the UK. On the other hand, no details about pricing have been revealed yet.
