The Q3 and Q4 of every year are the busiest times in the tech world as Samsung, Apple, Google, and OnePlus launch its smartphones during this period. Samsung has just taken the wraps off its new generation Note 10 and Note 10 Plus and the next biggest launch will be from Apple. Following its tradition to launch new iPhones in every September of a year, Apple will continue the same as leaks suggest new iPhones will be unveiled on September 10.
Apart from the leaks, Apple accidentally confirmed the date in its iOS 13 which contained some image files that point to the exact date Apple would launch the next iPhone. iHelpBR found the screenshot of the iOS beta. The image in question shows the app drawer of the iPhone which shows the date in its calendar application. To jog your memory, a similar screenshot was found last year which indicated Apple 10’s launch date, which was September 12.
This year too, Apple will reveal three iPhone models and their names have been leaked as well. A new Apple Watch might also be unveiled at the event. Reports suggest that an impending 16-inch redesign of the MacBook Pro is also in the works but it cannot be confirmed at the moment. Apple will simultaneously release the stable versions of iOS 13 and macOS Catalina a few days after the event.
The new iPhones will be called iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max. The names were leaked from ESR, a company that makes protective cases for iPhones and Samsung phones. In this case, the iPhone 11 will succeed the iPhone XR, the iPhone 11 Pro would follow up the iPhone XS, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max would replace the iPhone XS Max.
Apple leaker Max Weinbach said that the new generation iPhones will come with storage capacities of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. It seems that the Cupertino-giant is finally saying goodbye to the 64GB variant.
We will definitely cover the next big launch from Apple so stay tuned for more such updates.
