Apple is reported to launch iPhone SE 2 and the new iPad Pro with rear 3D sensing in the first half of 2020, according to a renowned Apple ‘tipster’ former KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi-Kuo.
According to a research note with investor firm TF International Securities (via MacRumors), Kuo has suggested that the alleged Apple iPad Pro will come with “3D sensing through the rear-facing camera system.” Moreover, Apple is rumored to equip the time-of-flight system that “measures the time that it takes for light to bounce off of objects in a room to generate a 3D map.”
Also, as per a report from the Korean website called The Elec, Apple may refresh its iPad Pro series in March 2020. The report also adds that LG will be responsible for supplying the ToF (time-of-flight) sensors.
Last month, it was reported that Apple is working on launching the successor to iPhone SE in the first half of next year. Also, as per a report by MacRumors, the Cupertino-based tech giant is said to start mass production of this iPhone in January 2020.
