Dune: Awakening was announced during Gamescom 2022

It’s an open world survival MMO set on deserts of Arrakis.

A short teaser gave us Dune's well known "Fear is the mind-killer" quote.

The game will take inspirations from both novel and the recent Dune movie.

The trailer for the game doesn’t include a lot of data about what players will really be doing once the game shows up.

As indicated by the developer Funcom, the game will put huge number of players at once on the deserts of Arrakis, requesting that them construct their own shelters, and later bases and groups.
